Classic Stone Mantels are created using a beautiful composite stone mantel material. Each Mantel has variations in color and texture that capture the essence of natural stone. The fit and finish of these mantels is exceptional. Designs range from simple to elegant – each with careful attention to detail.
Each Classic Stone Mantel component is hand cast in a mold, using extremely durable reinforced stonecast material. The process creates a mantelpiece that is very strong, relatively lightweight and with a finish that is natural and distinctive whether you choose one of our four Natural Stone Colors or our three Hand Honed or Polished Colors.
Matching Surround Facing is available in either a single custom piece to fit your firebox opening or a three piece adjustable kit that slides within the cavity of the mantel.
Hearths are placed directly in front of the firebox. You may choose from square or half-round edge profiles along with raised heights up to 12 inches.
Overmantels can be placed above the mantel to add visual interest and height. We can generally customize the height of your overmantel to meet your exact needs. Most overmantels can be custom made with a recessed niche to accommodate a flat screen TV.

- ORANGE ARROWS indicate areas of Mantel and Overmantel that can typically change with a custom version. Hearths may also change in length, depth and height.
- BLUE ARROWS show areas of the Mantel and Overmantel that can be increased to create a "cabinet" mantel allowing for a firebox and/or chimney that protrudes out from the wall (please contact our staff or fill out our measurement form).
- Most Overmantels can be custom made with a recessed niche to accommodate a flat screen TV.
- Mantels generally ship in 3 parts (2 legs, and mantel shelf). Lifting a leg is typically a one person job, while a mantel shelf requires two people.
- Surround facing may be ordered in a single custom piece (sized for your firebox opening) or in a 3 piece adjustable kit that slides within the cavity of the mantel.
- The number of Overmantel pieces varies by style and height, but are typically separated in manageable components for easy handling and installation.
