This vent free gas burner has safety features including an Oxygen Depletion Sensor which instantly shuts off the valve if oxygen in the room drops to an unsafe level. Empire Comfort Systems Slope Glaze gas burners contain ceramic beads which tumble the gas to create exceptional realistic flame movement giving the ambiance of a wood-burning fireplace. Add the Traditional Log and Ember Kit for an even more authentic look.

Your Slope Glaze Burner comes with 4 ignition types to choose from:
The Millivolt system that includes a On/Off Switch but can also be controlled with a remote or wall switch (sold separately). The Manual system is a manual only control system that includes a 3 position knob (Hi-Med-Low) while the Variable Flame system includes a remote that controls turning the burner on and off and also the flame height. If you are interested in electronic ignitions the Intermittent Pilot system includes a Thermostat Variable Remote that sets and maintains room temperature and controls flame height.
